Code of Conduct 

  1. Respect Everyone's Privacy - no sharing information without people's consent 
  2. Support Your Peers - encourage others around you with positive feedback and constructive criticism 
  3. SFU Policy - No hostile or offensive communication with other hackers, mentors, volunteers, or judges. 
  4. Garbage Disposal - please keep our school and environment clean
  5. No Plagiarism - no plagiarism or copying will be tolerated. Be sure to credit the original creators for any resources used (technical/non-technical). Note - you can use ChatGPT at your own discretion. Remember that this is an opportunity for you to learn and create something you are proud of. 
  6. Stay on topic - keep conversations relevant to the room you're in, and give everyone the chance to participate
  7. Have fun :)

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection 

Deadlines for submissions will be at 6:00 PM. Judging will be based on the following: Creativity Innovation and Uniqueness of Solution, Functionality, Impact, Problem and Theme, Quality of Pitch, and Bonus. The first selection round will begin at 7:00 PM, and the top 3 projects will return for a second round of deliberation at 8:00 PM. The Winners will be announced at 8:30 PM.
